Daniel in his Denney's Duds

What a "happy camper" (not) in his Denney's
Duds...this is his work outfit with the
Denney's logo on the sleeve of his shirt.
Notice the cool plastic apron on the couch...
We haven't even had the 'privilege' of seeing
that on him...he told me not to POST any
pictures of him in this stuff....I told him....
Just one...for your big sista! ;-)

New Glasses...I went out of my "box" with a new style!

I had Daniel along at the eyeglass place as he needed to get
his eyes checked. He doesn't need glasses, but mine needed to
be replaced...they were scratched and I was looking through
a "white spot" that wouldn't come out. So, with Daniel's opinion,
along with the opthamologist (a man) and the woman that works
there, they ALL three liked this frame on me "hands-down" over
any of the others (and it was a lot) that I tried on...A new and
different look that I'll have to take some time to get used to.

EWWWWWW!!!

Big and Hairy

I have nothing in the picture to show how big this guy really is!
Tonight when Daniel was taking out the garbage he saw him.
He must be quite old to have grown this large. He is truly
about the size of my hand...that's for REAL! I couldn't really
catch him in the picture all spread-out, but he was so BIG.
He WON'T stay alive if he comes into the house though...

Just a few more of Daniel's truck

Inside and Out...pretty good shape for a 2000

that has 94,000 miles = $6,600...SWEET!

Some of my new favorite things...

New Things I have Tried and LIKED

There are a few NEW food Items I have found
that are HEALTHY, have lots of fiber and if
you're a Weight Watcher, they have low points
values:
First: Vitalicious VitaMuffin VitaTops.
Only 100 calories, low-fat, high fiber = 1 point (Yay)
They have lots of yummy flavors...triple chocolate,
peanut butter chip, Cranberry Bran. And YES, they
are delicious, even 1-point BROWNIES!
Also, Gnu Bars = Granola type bars, moist and chewy.
Only 2 points each with Weight Watchers and lots
of yummy flavors...
I like the Peanut Butter and the Banana Walnut.
Thirdly is the Total Tea....
Yummy with a citrusy flavor, no caffeine and
really keeps the colon clean.
Check them out on-line and read about them
It's really nice to find these great things that
are super healthy and taste great and
really keep things moving and don't add to
the waistline!

Commitment...

There is a remarkable difference between a
commitment of 99% and 100%. At 100%
you are seeing your problems all the way
through to their solutions. At 99% we can
still find a way to take the path of least resistance...
(and usually do). The 100% commitment not only
works for marriage but it also works for life!

A LONG Day...

So, we woke up early and got going by 7:15 this morning.
We planned to drive down to Los Algodones, Mexico to
get some meds. Got there by 10 a.m. and we were on our
way out by 10:35! No wait in line with the border security,
yay for no snowbirds around...so our trip went flawless there
today. From Mexico we headed East through Yuma and on to
Gilbert, Arizona where a truck was for sale that Tom wanted to
possibly purchase for Daniel. Since it was for Daniel, afterall, we
let him SKIP school today and go with us! Of course, we needed
his approval on this sweet pick-up we were considering for him.
Seemed like it took "forever" from Mexico to Gilbert, then, Friday
night traffic from the far Eastern part of Phoenix (Gilbert) all the
way through heavy traffic...but we survived it all and travelled
642 miles all today. A long day, but really it all went so well!

It brings a SMILE to his face!

Thoughtful A-B-C's

Although things are not perfect
Because of trials or pain
Continue in thanksgiving
Do not begin to blame.
Even when the times are hard
Fierce winds are bound to blow
God is forever able
Hold on to what you know
Imagine life without His love
Joy would cease to be
Keep thanking Him for all the things
Love imparts to thee
Move out of 'Camp Complaining'
No weapon that is known
On earth can yield the power
Praise can do alone
Quit looking at the future
Redeem the time at hand
Start every day with worship
To 'thank' is a command
Until we see Him coming
Victorious in the sky
We'll run the race with gratitude
Xalting God Most high
Yes, there'll be good times & yes some will be bad, but...
Zion waits in glory...where no one is ever sad!

Zane's Grandparents Home

Pete & Peg invited us for Icecream and fruit after gospel
meeting one Sunday. So nice to see their house all
finished. It's beautiful...
The fountain out front of their place...and yes, with a
beautiful sunset and a small view of the water!

Pete & Peg's Bike-Mobile with Tanya's two little one's
going for a ride, however, they weren't quite big enough
to make it go too far..the peddles were too far away for
little Elizabeth!

Daniel making it really go! A strange looking little
buggy, but looks like fun!

Connell, Washington

A huge dust devil was coming our way. My camera
wouldn't focus on it though!
We saw this sunset as we came out from
the Burger Factory in Connell, WA
I couldn't resist taking a picture!

Grandpa snoozing on his "new" chair I found at the
Small Mall (antique/used) store in Connell. He paid
$26.00 and just loves it. Took several naps a day in
it! At 83 years old, I think he deserves that!

Summer Time in Connell, Washington

The wheat - An aweful year...almost considered a
crop failure...Glad the Hart's have crop insurance!
Tom driving the combine. The wheat still had to
be cut, thework still needed to be done!

Georgeous Sunset from the folk's old place.

The kid's all dressed-up from Sunday morning meeting.
Neil, Derek, Malia, Daniel & Brenda
True Foster Kids and Cousins!

I have a weakness for beautiful sunsets!
Sunrises are right up there on my list too!

Mixture of Seattle

This little racoon kept looking into the window at the Folks
in Ballard...looking for a hand-out!!! It was cute, but they're a
nuisance.
Inside the Cheesecake Factory. Tom & I got a gift card
and enjoyed it for lunch one day at the Southcenter Mall.
Yummy. Thank you Michael & Marianne! Having a 25th
anniversary is fun!

Another giftcard for our 25th anniversary took us to the
Olive Garden Restaurant in Lynnwood. Delicious, yes,
it's no wonder I'm on a diet now that I'm home! Steve &
Ken (my brothers joined us). Ken was up celebrating his
4th of July birthday. (He was taking the picture).
