What we're sending Landon for his 4th Birthday

Anna...just so you can see what we're sending Landon.
This is one of dad's models he decided to give to
Landon. It is delicate but Landon can play with
it. He was so careful when they were here with
all of dad's collection!

Found this little play outfit today I thought was pretty
cute and it should keep Landon warm this winter. They
already are having cold weather there.

Our Beautiful Sunset This Evening...

Out on Lake Havasu

Daniel looking into the sun...beautiful day...
90 degrees!

Another gorgeous day on the lake

I-pod, Sunshine, Boat...life is good!

Heading into the Channel

Going into the channel toward the London Bridge

The London Bridge

Ready to head under the bridge...

Afternoon on the boat on Lake Havasu

Light up on the London Bridge
This boat was used in the newly filmed-upcoming movie
out next spring...Filmed right here on the Lake and in
the town...aptly named: "Lake Victoria" instead of Lake
Havasu. It's supposed to be a current-day version of
"JAWS" in 3-D. Putting Havasu on the map!

A neat looking boat built this past year.

A fountain you pass just after going under the bridge.

Looking up at the bridge as we passed under it.

Afternoon out on Lake Havasu

The flags on London Bridge...very patriotic!

London Bridge Resort...
Another part of the resort.

Heading down the channel

Out into Thompson Bay...

Our afternoon on Lake Havasu

Just coming into Thompson Bay...

People were swimming in the 70 degree water...kinda chilly.
Thompson Bay

Out on the lake

Back into the Marina where we launch the boat
and come in. A lovely day of boating...too bad
Malia had to work!

MOON, PRETTY MOON...

If it were a ball...
I would bounce it.
If it were a donut...
I'd drool on it.
If it were a pizza...
I'd eat it.
If it were a button...
I'd sew it on my skirt.
If it were a quarter...
I'd spend it.
If it were a marshmallow...
I'd roast it on an open fire.
If it were a marble...
I'd display it.
If it were my eyeball...
I'd look through it.
If it were my headlight...
I'd see my direction.
If it were my pill...
I'd swallow it.
If it were my CD...
I'd listen to it.
If it were my wedding band...
I'd wear it.
If it were the letter "O"...
I'd use it to spell MOON.
It's our beautiful MOON
And I'm thankful for God's
provision of it...a guiding light
at night...and the thought that
there will be another tomorrow!

GREEN CHILE CHICKEN

2.5 lb. bag Tyson's chicken breast tenderlions
1/3 - 1/2 c. Egg Beaters
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
(I add some Seasoning salt in place of salt)
1 - 2 7oz. cans whole mild green chiles
(half or third them after rinsing out seeds)
1 c. low-fat (2%) grated Mexican blend cheese
2 - 3 T. light or fat-free Mayo
Mix Egg Beaters and spices into a bowl. Spray fry
pan with "Pam". Dip each tenderlion into egg mixture
and "fry" in hot skillet or fry pan 4 minutes on each
side (approx). Once all the chicken is browned lay-out onto
cookie sheet or large casserole pan. Lay 1/3 of green
chile on each piece of chicken (it will just cover each
piece quite nicely). Mix together grated cheese and
mayo. Add approximately a heaping teaspoon of cheese
mixture on each piece of chicken to cover all the pieces.
(See pictures above). Bake at 350 oven for 30 minutes.
This is really good and very low-calorie.

YES IT IS...YES I DID TAKE IT...

This rattlesnake slithered onto our driveway as Tom
and I got home from the gym. It was dark outside and
appeared his tail (the rattler) had been run over by a
car...sure enough...so he wasn't as quick as they norm-
ally can be...so with flashlight and camera in hand (my
part) and Tom with a flashlight and shovel (his part)
did away with this fella and put him in the wash that
runs by our house. I took these pictures but didn't
show the squashed "rattle".

Gratitude

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough,
and more. It turns denial into acceptance,
chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
I can turn a meal into a feast,
a house into a home, a stranger
into a friend. Gratitude makes
sense of our past, brings peace for
today, and creates a vision for
tomorrow."
