"Ellen, Ellen, How Does Your Garden Grow?"

Lori's Mom, Ellen, has a beautiful garden too, so I couldn't resist taking some pictures...she has an herb garden, a vegetable garden and a flower garden...all with nary a weed...and as with Lori and with Ellen, they say it is "therapy" to them to go out and work in their gardens.  So happy they have them for us to enjoy the fruits of their labors!!!!

A FEW more pictures with Stallings...

Landon is so afraid of dogs, but he finally
got to the point where he was willing to finally touch him on his own accord...

They want to get him a puppy so he can get used to animals and not have such a fear!

These birds were soooo pretty out on Lori's tomato stands.  (I took a picture of them through their windows so I wouldn't scare them away).

Aaron & Lori getting ready to leave in their motorhome for a vacation and convention.  They were pulling their Jeep.

"English" Tea Party in Ohio @ Eleanors...

Lori, Ellen (Lori's Mom), Landon & I went for a tea party on Saturday.  It was so much fun as you can see from the pictures below...

Landon, Ellen & me...

One of the tea rooms...
In the room we were in...
Our scones, collotted cream & marmalade...yummy!!!!
3 different kinds of sandwiches....
were all really yummy......
Two desserts here...a chocolate yet to come...
Us three...cheesy grins....
And cutest cheesy grin of all.  Landon only had iced tea with at least 10 lumps of sugar in his iced tea!  (see he knew what he was doing!!!)

There are so many cool looking houses here in Ohio near where Aaron and Lori live...I snapped a few out the window when we were driving.  Most of them were blurry because we were driving...

Lori's Beautiful Garden and Happy 14th Birthday Jack!!!

Lori's way of relaxing is working in her yard!
I love her beautiful flowers.  I could hardly quit taking pictures of all her pretty flowers!!!!
Her five chickens give between 4 and 5 brown eggs each day.  Nothing like bringing in your own eggs each morning and cookin' them up! :)

This is Landon's little bunny rabbit...
Here's Landon with his graduation hat.  Graduation from pre-school.  It's kindergarten this fall......2011.

He made this at school for his mama.
Lori reading him a bednight story while Landon ate his snack of organic cereal with no milk.
It was Jack's 14th birthday on June 10th so Landon thought we should sing happy birthday and have a cake for him, so his "cake" was one of Landon's navy-blue-colored tortilla chips!  But jack didn't eat it.  But we did sing to Jack, so he wasn't impressed, he just walked away...he's such an old man, he's just not interested in much anymore.....well, just like an old man! :)

Salem, Indiana

We spent a night with Jack and Karen Stallings in Salem, Indiana.  It was special to be with them.  They had one of their sons with them, his wife and two children, also Jack's parents over for supper and a visit.  We had a great evening with everyone before we headed out the next day with Ryan in tow!  He had spent the week with his grandparents and we took him home with us to Sidney, Ohio.

Corvette Museum, Bowling Green Kentucky

1958 Vintage Corvette...my vintage!!! :)

1960 Chevy.  Tom's Vintage :)

This wall mural is made up of a bunch of tiny little pictures...see the picture below...those are the tiny little pictures below!!!! pretty cool!

These brand new Corvettes are in their "cribs" awaiting their new owners to pick-up that day having just been built to specifications at the factory down the street.  They're detailed in this building then "cribbed" here until pick-up by their new owners!

This Corvette was painted specifically for the POWS/MIAs........it is pretty neat.  Tom has always wanted to see either the Corvette Factory OR the Corvette Museum...decided the Museum would interest him more this day!

The FOLKS and Tom's brother came for a visit!!! (and Sally too)...

They arrived Saturday, May 14th and stayed until today, May 24th.  It was so nice to have them.  They came to be here for Daniel and Malia's graduation.  They made it in enough time for their get-together on Sunday evening the 15th as well.  Sally, their minature Dauchaund was sweet 1/2 the time and a pill half the time.  I guess I have to be fair and say that she just isn't trained!!!!  So, she had W-A-Y toooo many accidents in the house to my liking!!!  When she wasn't doing that and wasn't being feisty, she was adorable and sweet!  Our dog, Jack was quite annoyed by her most of the time, so he just escaped toour walk-in closet or to our bed and stayed there.  Mostly tried to avoid her at all costs!

While the folks were here, we played lots of games....Rook, Golden Ten, Rummy, etc.  We did lots of eating, Eating out, Steve and Daniel went golfing a few times (no Daniel is no golfer but he was a good sport and went along and had fun), also went out in Daniel's boat a couple times.  Kept pretty busy and enjoyed being together!  The weather cooperated just about everyday.  It's always nice to have company, so yes, you're welcome!!!!  Please Come!  :)

Mother's Day Gift from Anna & Zane

Well, what can I say...I really don't like pictures of myself, and when it's a self-portrait...well, it's even worse, but knew you'd want to see a picture of the new jacket you sent to me for mother's day, well, here it is.  I really do like it.  but as you said, it is too warm to wear it now in our hot weather, so I'll have to set it aside until our weather cools down and believe me I wear a lot of sweaters and jackets once it cools down, so know I'll get some good use out of it.  Thanks for the beautiful card too.  Loved the special thoughts in it.
All my kids were so thoughtful to me for mother's day this year, it nearly made me cry.  The cards, the gifts!  The expression of their love was beyong measure!

Graduation Caps and Gowns - 2011

Graduation will take place a couple blocks from here on Wednesday, May 18th.  Patty, the kid's principal had the 8 kids graduating to meet down at the fountain to get their pictures taken with their caps and gowns on.  You will notice in this very last picture Daniel is the only one without his cap on and at the very top of the picture is his cap...he tossed it in the air and it landed in the fountain....they are fabric-covered cardboard...oops...he still needs to wear it for graduation...double ooops...anyway, Derek was there and took these pictures for me...(thanks Derek).  By the way...Malia is wearing Anna's graduation gown...5 years later.  Amazing it's the exact same color (same company...Jostens)..funny, huh.  Some things never change.  They just had to order Malia a tassel since Lake Havasu Charter's colors are royal and white...Anna's were royal and green I believe.  Sunday evening we're having a graduation get-together for the kids.  Tom's folks and his older brother Steve plan to be here for that.  If they make it here on time they will have been to every one of their grandchildren's graduations!!!
