More Friends in Jamestown...

After Sunday morning meeting we went out to lunch with Brian & Julie Stockwell.  Really enjoyed catching up with them after four years!!!

Wilfred & Thema Aarestad and their son Mike Aarestad from Fargo.  Mike came to help celebrate his mom's 86th birthday this Monday, June 27th.

Vernon and Cleo Harr.  Tom knew them from years and years ago, retired farmers.  They invited us out to dinner.  It was a fine Mexican feast!  They wanted to know if we still played Rook.  "yes"... "would you like to come over and play"  "sure".  The women against the men.  The results:  The women won one game, the men won one game.  So we had to play the 'rubber'....the men won! :)

Bill & Linda Snyder.  Bill is recovering from double replacement hip surgery (very successful by the way).  Enjoyed lunch at Applebees together and catching up after four years!  We visited long enough I think we were going to have to order supper!

While we were inside enjoying our visit someone was outside and ran into our car and scraped it, and of course, didn't leave a note or a phone number.   Grrrrrrrrrrrr.  Tom has since wiped it down.  It left some scrapes.  With a $500.00 deductible, not sure what we'll do.  He thinks he can maybe buff it out and touch it up with some touch-up paint.  Yesterday he found a screw in our tire, fortunately, we were near a gas station so they were able to repair it.
