Trip To Show Low, AZ This Past Week

Derek & his new roommate, Dwight.  They actually resemble each other except Dwight has glasses.

We had lunch at Waldo's BBQ in Show Low.  There is one in

Havasu also, but the owner actually runs the Waldo's in Show Low!

The new store is now open as of Monday, but the grand opening is April 1st.  Derek has been working for two weeks helping get it ready.

Our Trip to a Ghost Town - Swansea, AZ

The top and middle picture is of the CHOLLA CACTUS (pronounced like: choy - ya), the next picture is of two saguaro cactus, the next is of a rock formation we call "window rock"...there are lots of "window rocks" in Arizona...this is just one of those many such rock formations and the last picture is the dusty, winding road going into Swansea.
