Our Backyard Sunsets...again!

I have a weak spot for beautiful sunsets, and so often see them, but never have my camera with me or at the right time. Last night I was coming home in the car, saw yet another beautiful sunset and by the time I got home, got my camera, I almost MISSED it. It's still pretty, just not at it's glory!

THEY SAY BLONDES HAVE MORE FUN...

I finally had to take some pictures of these monkeys up in the palm trees. I see them everyday that I go to the gym, heading down Oro Grande. They make me smile. These monkeys are soft and cushy, they play up in the trees all day long, they're quiet, they don't eat much, and honestly, they don't have a care in the world! Who says blondes have more fun? This red-head and brunettes seem to be having a great time!

"And They Called it Puppy Love...."

Remember that Donny Osmond song from the seventies??? "And they called it puppy love...", No some of you probably don't, but I loved it back in the day...Here is Malia letting Jack give her a lick! Jack is such a sweet dog and he loves to give kisses. Jack isn't even partial to who he kisses...if you're a "willing participant" he is a "willing giver"....

My New Prescription Glasses & RX Sunglasses

So, on Sunday on our way TO meeting my glasses just decided to break in half...and it wasn't in the frame, but it was the glass itself...ACK, I really need my glasses to read...but since we had such a large union meeting in Blythe, there was no need to do much reading, so I was o.k. :-) So, I got an appointment here in town and was in TWO new pair of glasses by Wednesday afternoon. Have never had prescription sunglasses, I was amazed at how good I could see! I guess I didn't realize how I WASN'T seeing through my old sunglasses! That's an interesting thought, because I thought I was seeing just fine??!!?

EAT A FROG

"If the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning is eat a live frog, then nothing worse can happen for the rest of the day!"

Brian Tracy says that your "frog" should be the most difficult item on your things to do list, the one you're most likely to procrastinate; because, if you eat that first, it'll give you energy and momentum for the rest of the day. But, if you don't...and let him sit there on the plate and stare at you while you do a hundred unimportant things, it can drain your energy and you won't even know it.
